FS2004 Macchi MB-308. The Macchi MB.308 was a light aircraft produced in Italy in the late 1940s, one of the most prolific Italian-built types of the following decade. It was a conventional high-wing cantilever monoplane with fixed tricycle landing gear. Powered by an 85 HP Continental C-85 engine. Wooden construction throughout. The pilot and a the passenger or flight instructor sat side-by-side. The MB.308 was ordered in quantity by the Aeronautica Militare Italiana (Italian Air Force), which leased them out to some Italian aeroclubs. The model features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on. Two liveries and two models are provided, one reproducing the aircraft with civil registration and the other reproducing the aircraft with military livery which is based in the ‘Vigna di Valle’ Historical Museum, Rome Italy.
