– FS2004 Chance Vought XO4U-1 Corsair

FS2004 Chance Vought XO4U-1 Corsair. Only one XO4U-1 was built for the Navy and first flew in 1931. It was Vought’s first airplane with a monocoque fuselage and fabric covered metal wing structure. It could be either a landplane or a seaplane. It crashed during flight test prior to Navy acceptance. Its intended purpose was as a scouting and observation aircraft. Since it never made it into production Mick Morrissey has made two speculative texture sets for this aircraft, one in Navy and one in Marine Corps service liveries, plus an authentic paint of the prototype. Model by Chris Herring. Flight dynamics by David Wooster. Textures by Mick Morrissey. 4,5 Mb
