FS2004 SAAF CASA C-212-100 Aviocar. The aircraft is depicted in the colors of the South African Airforce. The CASA C-212-100 Aviocar is a light military transport that was designed to operate in areas lacking in infrastructure and unpaved runways. It has a high-wing configuration and fixed landing gear, is fitted with twin turboprop engines, and has excellent Short TakeOff and Landing (STOL) capability. The first prototype flew in 1971 The South African Airforce inherited four samples from the homelands in 1994. The aircraft fly very good and handles well. The plane is capable of landing on very short and rough stips.The cargo haul can accept standard pallets and even light vehicles. This aircraft is based on a previous model of Johan Crous.
